The Harpham Quartet is steadily becoming regarded as a formidable new talent. Last year, they were selected as Park Lane Group Young Artists and performed in the New Year Series 2008 at the Purcell Room. Other recent performance highlights include appearances at the Wigmore Hall, Fairfield Halls and Rachmaninov Hall, Moscow and recitals for the Harrogate International Festival, Mostly Mozart Festival at the Barbican, Lake District Summer Music and Honiton Festival. Having given a successful concert at the Honiton Festival last year, they were invited back to perform clarinet quintets by Mozart and Brahms with Emma Johnson. In March 2007, they were also invited to join forces with the Bochmann Quartet in a performance of Mendelssohn's Octet.
